[00:00:12] Right on. Yeah, that's a good question.
[00:00:16] I think what. I think what I loved about him is probably what most people loved about him. And it was just his raw, genuine passion and care for humanity and. And that inquisitive nature of like, I want to know what makes this work. Like, when we're little and we're like trying to tear apart whatever it is, it may be an apple. You just want to, oh, there's a seed in there. What's a seed? And he's like, we're learning. We're re learning things from the ground up all the time, right? And when I get to speak to you, I'll learn something and maybe you'll learn something from me. And.
[00:00:52] And the brother, David was just so acquisitive. And when we were younger, I didn't really meet him until ninth grade.
[00:01:00] We were kind of like. My mom was basically like a hippie and we moved all around. I was born in Woodstock, New York, which is like the birthplace of hippies almost, you know, and David was born pretty close to there. But we didn't meet each other until ninth grade. But we did gravitate our curiosity, our curiosity and love for the arts. And he really got me into thinking about. I'm a cult survivor, by the way. So even though my mother's Jewish, she converted to Christianity and then got into these wild cults in California. And we can go into cults at some point if you want. But that got me thinking. I think a lot about spirituality and. And I don't mean occult, I mean, I mean cults. Like, basically like faith healing style cults. And so it got me thinking at an early age about spirituality and, you know, what God might be and what, you know, universal forces that are out there. And David was, you know, he was the kid in high school that would bring a cool book and say, hey, Gary, check that out. You should read this. This is really cool. And it was on everything from palm reading to magic to Bigfoot to UFOs to oh, Lord. I mean, he. It was everything, literally. And I. So I had stacks of books that he would. This guy was an avid reader. He, you know, and way ahead of his time. So he was reading books that, you know, I think he talked about reading one of his first books on magic at like 6 years old or something. So that was, you know, that was way ahead of me.
[00:02:38] And so I think what everybody really loved about the brother and, and I say this all the time on my own stream is that if you ran into him in the Grocery store. And you happen to recognize him, he would sit and talk to you for like, you know, I would, because if I was visiting, we'd go grocery shopping and stock the house up and he'd run into a fan.
[00:03:01] It could be at the water spring because he would get natural, you know, water at the spring. And we'd. Some stranger would recognize him and it might be an hour and 40 minutes that he'd be just talking to somebody about God or about like, what, shooting the shit like we're doing. And, and that was really beautiful. It was like he did have the time to listen to, you know, what was on your heart. And, and, and then usually people did. If they knew him, they generally would have questions for him at the time.
[00:03:31] Ancient Aliens, I think, kind of put them on the map. And so people would always have these like, you know, alien style questions. And yeah, it was, it was great hanging out as a friend. Sometimes it was annoying because you were hungry and, and it was, you know, if it was like three or four people, you're talking like, okay, this has been like a three hour trip to the grocery store or, you know. But that was also one of the beautiful things that made people fall in love with him. That, and I always say this too. So the, the David that you saw on his, you know, Sunday show or whatever on Ancient Aliens or wherever you did see him or read in a book, was the same guy that if you sat by him, you know, wherever, on a park bench, it was the same exact dude. There was no like, pretense about him. It was the same. He'd make the same funny jokes and be the same crazy, silly guy to everybody. And that was really cool, like, because I've known other people in that, like, you know, I don't know whether to call them like a pseudo celebrity status or celebrity or whatever, you know, but they're not always the same on camera as they are off, you know. But David was certainly super genuine and I think people sense that.
[00:04:45] Does that answer what you're thinking?
[00:05:19] Amen. Yeah. He could connect the dots like nobody else I ever knew. And sometimes I, it, it, the, the sad side of things is it did. I think eventually it's like, I don't know if you ever read the book or saw the movie A Beautiful Mind, but it's like, I think since his mind never stopped and the dots never stopped connecting, it was probably really hard to step outside of that. And I, it became this, I think, weight that he had to bear. And I, I was watching a documentary on Jerry Garcia, he was the singer of the Grateful Dead. I don't know how much you know about it, but Jerry basically became this figure of like, almost like a Christ like figure where not that like. And David also became this figure that people would look up to and basically lay their burdens down like Christ, almost like not.
[00:06:11] Maybe not even consciously, but just opening up and talking. And so suddenly that responsibility of having all these thousands or hundreds of thousands, however many people is. I mean, it's across to bear, so to speak, you have to carry that way. And even you with your show and then me with what I'm doing, sometimes we bear the weight of what people say, like, in your comp. You know, sometimes it does. Like, even.
[00:06:38] You know what I tell my kids, I. I have two, like, grown kids, and I say even Jesus, who supposedly was this, you know, perfect man, God being in flesh, had haters like Elvis and Madonna. Like, think of the greatest human beings you can think of, and there was people that hated on them. Or. Or. Or Jesus, for that matter, who was probably our. You know, if he lived, he would have probably been the most perfect human ever, I suppose. Right. So even he had people that were, like, not happy with what he was doing.
[00:07:12] So it's like, they're going to be there, man. And it's just, I guess we have to use that to try to propel us to keep doing what we're doing.
[00:07:25] Amen. Yeah. Yeah. Right on. Yeah. Evoking, right. As an artist, we say the job is to evoke reaction. So people may hate your art, people may love your art. It's the same in spirituality or whatever. Like, as long as you feel something.
[00:07:42] In Hebrew, we call it ruach is like your flame is like. Or Christians would call it like, the Holy Spirit or like God within them.
[00:07:49] And that's.
[00:07:51] As long as that flame burns, you're doing something right. So same with art. Like, if nobody cares to look at the piece, it's probably not going to evoke reaction or emotion. Like, if they're not even going to want to look at it. But if you. If they look at it and say they hate it, you've done something, you've evoked reaction, they've given it a moment to try to process it. And, you know, maybe they'll give you a reason why they hate it, and that's fine. We're all entitled to Earl and feelings. But, yeah, evoking it, I think, is the important part. Like you're saying. Yeah, amen.
[00:08:29] Yeah, you nailed. Oh, go ahead. Sorry.
[00:08:46] Yeah. Amen yeah, in Hebrew, we call it Yitzerah. So everybody has their own yitzera. Your, your own battle, your own cross to bear. And it was like, you know, when this, when, when the brother passed, it was like, I can't handle the breath. Like the brother couldn't handle the brothers Yetzera. You know what I mean? So, I mean, he could, and he did it in his own way. And, you know, I'm not here to judge what happened. I, I, I, I just love the fact, like I said, that he left us. He left the world with so many beautiful things. And the only thing I remember from high school was called the cost benefit analysis chart. And basically that means if, if the benefit outweighs the, the, the negative side of things, then, then rock and roll and do it. So in other words, if the good outweighs the bad, then let's go with it. You know what I mean? So I think the brother undoubtedly blazed this path of righteousness and beautiful, like, bringing so many souls together, whether they were Christian or New Age or Jews, whatever they were, whatever label they had, he had this unifying way of bringing people together and shining, you know, the light of the divine, the benevolent universe. He, he loved the law of one. And you, if you're familiar with his work, you probably.
[00:10:11] And in the law of one, it states there's only, like, basically one identity in the universe. And that's, you know, Jews call it Hashem. You could call it God or divine consciousness or creator, whatever your favorite word is. And, you know, I was just talking to my wife about, like, words. Like, what are words? Because, you know, like, sometimes Christians get caught up in this. Like, okay, well, you need to accept Jesus. You need to say these certain words in a certain order.
[00:10:36] In other words, it. In order to receive God's love. But what I try to tell people is don't get so caught up on the semantics, because, you know, semantics are weird, right? Words are what, like air being forced over your vocal cords and we're making these weird grunts and facial expressions. I mean, words are just like, they're powerful because obviously that's how. Hashem, you know, if you're creationist, we believe that's how everything came into being, was through the Word, through the Logos.
[00:11:06] And so I'm not trying to downplay the power of the Word, but we shouldn't get hung up because Gary calls, you know, God one thing and Jude calls God something else. I mean, it's, you know what I mean? The divine is the divine beyond what your definition or my definition is. And in Kabbal is thought, we believe that hashem, which just means the name. So Jews aren't really supposed to say God, but, I mean, I'm okay. I'm. I'm not, like, hung up on that. It's okay for me to say God, but hashem is everything that is and isn't. So in other words, everything that will be, everything that has not come to pass, everything that humans are not capable of processing. That's also included in the word hashem, you know, which is nice because it's like beyond space, time, and logos beyond word. It's, you know, God is so much bigger than the human conception of or, you know, the communication devices that you and I have normalized ourselves with.
[00:12:18] Right. But it's beautiful. We're still following our hearts and doing what we can to, you know, worship the divine creator and spread the love. Spread the light. Yeah, Yeah.
[00:12:43] I really do. Yeah. He saw himself as.
[00:12:47] You know, he did see himself. He didn't see.
[00:12:51] He definitely saw past how things actually turned out and ended. You know, he. That wasn't the ending that was planned. I'll just say that.
[00:13:01] And he did see himself as being an integral part of trying to tie.
[00:13:06] Yeah. Spread the love.
[00:13:08] There's another Jewish term called oyla goyim. And I don't know, somehow goyim became this term that people think is negative, but it's really not. What it means is oil goyim is be the light to many nations. That's what it means. Like, from Hebrew to English. So basically. And the Christians adopted that term too. Right. They say. I think they almost use the same thing. It's like, be a light unto the nations is what Christians would say.
[00:13:32] And so. And that's. I believe David was, you know, and is a light among many nations, like spreading. Spreading truth, spreading love.
[00:13:43] Sometimes we miss, Right. We throw the dart, and it's not going to nail it. Right. On the. Not everything he said may have been truth or. But sometimes you.
[00:13:54] It's like art or anything else. I don't know what some of your passions might be, but sometimes we have to try a bunch of times before we nail it.
[00:14:01] And I know this as an artist. I've done many things that, you know, I'm a photographer. I just got my tattoo license with tattooing. You do want to be careful before you actually do the tattoo. You want to put a stencil on there, and sometimes you mess the stencil up, which is better than messing a tattoo up. Right?
[00:14:17] So, yeah. Sometimes we throw a bunch of shit out, and it's not always accurate, but some of it sticks, some of it resonates, and somebody may need to hear it in the way that you present it. So I do believe that David was after the universal truth, and. And he did an amazing job. He helped open my mind and the mind of maybe millions of people, most likely. So I think he, you know, even if he had stopped doing what he did 10 years ago, he had already done more than most humans to help unify the truth community. I guess, you know, he's. I mean, you, I guess, found me through liking him, which is amazing. You know, that's great. And fortuitous and meant to be and synchronistic. Like, David would have called that out as a synchronicity. So. Yeah, it's beautiful. We were meant to collide.
[00:15:24] I like that.
[00:15:41] Amen. Yeah, I love that. And I think that's probably what Hashem or the Divine would want is just people waking up, right? People caring people being just alert and mindful of others. And, you know, it's. I was talking about that when I mentioned you the other day in the. And the love message, it's like, conceptually, it's easy. It's not always easy to execute it, right? To love thy neighbor. Someone's being an. To you or whatever it is, or a troll online. And I remember David, like, at some of his shows, he would be like, I love you, I still love you. You know, painted his ass, but he still, you know, or the Bible even says that, too. I think it says, like, love, hate the sin, but love the sinner, or something to that effect, you know, so. Yeah, and it shows, okay? These people are taking their time to watch your things or read your comments, and, you know, maybe they're not happy with themselves, so they're trying to take it out on you or on David or whoever else it might be at the time, you know, but it's just part of the human experience. And, you know, I. I still study. I study with my uncle once a week.
[00:16:51] Judaism.
[00:16:53] And it was like the question came up, like, okay, so why is there evil? Or why is there suffering? Or you can call it whatever you want, the devil, or, you know, but the human experience includes experiences that could be painful or bring sorrow or hurt or whatever it is, physical ailment. And, you know, why is it there? So it's like, probably the question that mankind's been asking ourselves for hundreds of thousands of years, right?
[00:17:20] So. And, you know, and Judaism.
[00:17:23] Judaism doesn't Try to say that they'll actually give you Torah quotes of like that God basically said I made evil. Like I, I think it, I think it's Isaiah. I can't remember the exact scripture, but it's in Isaiah. And, and God basically says, I, I author the light and the dark. I, I make heaven and evil. And basically what I was told is it helps with the decision of free will. So my uncle likes to say the illusion of free will. Because if Hashem knows everything, then maybe it's. But you still have a choice every single day. To take the choice of light towards the eternal consciousness, or truth, as we call it, or to turn your back from truth and choose whatever darkness or evil or sin or whatever you want to call it. So we can make that conscious choice every day by every little thing we do. Like whether we're in the car, somebody cuts you off, there's a million choices every day that we can get closer to Hashem or further. And Jews call it mitzvot, which is like when people look at their system and go, oh my God, 613 laws. Well, they don't really look at it as laws. They look at it as little teeny choices to make during the day to get closer to the divine or further.
[00:18:46] So if you reframe it like that, okay, these aren't all the rules I need to follow to be close to God. And they'll also admit to you that men made a lot of this up, so. Which I then have pro. Like, then I go, you know, well, I don't really care if the lights go on on Saturday. I'm, I'm okay with that. I don't think that affects my relationship with Hashem. When Hashem comes down and tells me not to turn the lights on, then we'll rediscuss it. But for now, I'm okay with it. You know, so little things like that I think are, are important to kind of keep in mind and that we can make that little conscious choice every day. And it's, it's not just getting closer to God. It could be your goals to, you know, whether you wanted to turn your show into a full time.
[00:19:28] You know, I want, I myself want to spend more time researching. I mean, I, I'll, I'll give you a shout out, dude, because this one two and a half hour video that I'm about to drop has taken me almost eight or nine days at this point between, like conceiving of a format building, slides out, shooting, video editing, researching. I mean, it was just a very Time consuming. Not everything has to be like that, but I now see that you really could. And I think that was another beautiful thing about David is nobody was more well researched than that guy. I don't, I don't. Like, he had told me and said on his show many times how many books he had read and the amount of research involved. But it was like I could spend the rest of my life reading and not catch up to the level of, you know, information that he had.
[00:20:25] And then it's hard because, like today we live in this information age where it is so accessible and it's like almost like overload. It's like, what do I. Is there such thing of like, it's like overeating a meal, right? Like you, you don't feel great after ingesting all that and you need to sort that chaos out. Like when, if you are sifting through reams of information. I like this, this is why your show is nice, because it's kind of. We're just free forming.
[00:21:23] Yeah, right on. Yeah, That's right. Yeah. I just called it the labyrinth the other day because I, I do, I am adhd. So once I like, I find my way into the labyrinth, but I get easily distracted and then I, so I take a right and a left and these, these paths seem really interesting and I go down here and then, then I realize, oh, I got to get out somehow, you know, and.
[00:21:56] But yeah, right on the discernment, I think.
[00:22:00] Yeah, that's an interesting.
[00:22:04] Like you could definitely jump down a rabbit hole with that. Like, how do we discern? I mean, yours. That seems cool that it's innate, that you kind of just pick up on your spirit or soul, whatever, senses right away. Okay, this resonates with me. Or this doesn't, you know.
[00:22:18] Yeah. Because some people, you may, you may veer off and take a, you know, a five year detour in like Buddhism or whatever it is that you suddenly. But I believe that's, you know, you then like, everything's for a reason, you know, so you may learn something from that that you wouldn't have learned if you took that path. You know what I mean?
[00:22:44] So it is important. So I think even, and even when we make the mistake and find out, like, okay, you know, I'll check this book out or whatever, speak to this person, and it doesn't fully resonate at the end, maybe there was a reason, maybe you needed to find that out, why you didn't and then you could process why it didn't resonate with you, you know, So I do believe that. I don't think it's an accident. Even when we bump into the wall. I think there's probably a reason I. I know myself in my life. I've had to learn the hard way. Like, generally people have, know, parents or whatever, they would say, oh, you should do it this way or do it that way.
[00:23:20] And then probably part of my stubborn nature or something, and then I end up finding out, oh, yeah, they were actually right. But at least I found out. I'm like, oh, you know, you test the theory, I guess.
[00:23:42] Sa.
[00:24:08] It is. Yeah, Amen. Yeah, amen.
[00:24:25] Yeah, amen.
[00:24:38] Oh, it's the whole story of the Bible, right? Is. Is that the path. In fact, the word Israelite means one who wrestles with God. And it comes from that story of the Bible where Jacob's wrestling the angel. What? The whole story. And it's not just the Old Testament, but continues through the New Testament as the. The oscillation of the path of, like, going towards righteousness versus, like, okay, we're going to step outside of God's grace and see what happens. It's usually not a fun story when, you know, when you veer off the path. And so many people would argue that today, you know, Israel is not following God's path. Right. It's like the.
[00:25:22] It's a. They're making choices that aren't, I think, Godly.
[00:25:28] Right. Or wrestling with God. Right. So. And we all wrestle with God, like you said, in our own.
[00:25:33] In our own way.
[00:25:35] And. But that's also beautiful. I think God appreciates, you know, because my wife. My wife is Christian, so sometimes we'll talk about different things. And.
[00:25:48] And I always say, like, so in Judaism, you're encouraged to kind of say, this doesn't seem to make sense and question it. Whereas, like, a lot of. When I was in, you know, I was. So I went to Christian school and I asked way too many questions for their comfort, and I would get in trouble a lot. But what I always say is I do believe that God loves the curious mind. So even if you're, like, questioning, like, doubting Thomas in the Bible or probably Job was freaking out in the Bible when he was getting his ass kicked, all these bad things were happening to Job, and. And it's okay to be like, oh, God, where are you? You know what I mean? It's like, it was like my daughter was talking about just dating relationships, and she said, you know, one of the things that's, like, most romantic to her is when the person seems really genuinely Interested in her life, like, wants to know, like, what makes you tick.
[00:26:41] And I think God's like that too. Like people that are like you and I, that are full searchers. Yeah. We may have formulated some answers that we believe are working now, but I feel like we'll be learning until we are not here in our 3D bodies anymore. And that's part of the. That's one of my primary motivators. And I think I recently was in therapy and, and the therapist asked me to basically define, you know, my primary motivators. And I thought, oh, that was cool. And she had this giant deck of cards and they had different items on them, you know, and like family, career, spirituality, knowledge. They, you know, there was a hundred different things and I think the. I had to focus on five. So we went through paring all these things down and then I and I got to the final five and they were just the basic, like, just like we were saying. I mean, obviously family and loved ones. Right. And, and knowledge was one, because I do. I'm endlessly curious. You could call it curiosity, knowledge, or, you know, spirituality was another one. So my faith is important, but I never want to be so like, oh, I decided this is it. And I'm going to close my mind to hearing what other people have to say, you know. So one of the things that I'm working on.
[00:28:04] Yeah, totally. Yeah. And that'll shut things down.
[00:28:11] I. For a long time I identified as a anti theist. And not that theism is bad, but theism is what man says God is. But I feel it's like, I feel it's like love something. You need to experience it because God can manifest itself in different ways to different people, you know, So I think it's important to have that personal experience and not just what mom and dad or your church or your friends or family kind of convinced you or, you know, sometimes it will come through like that. But often times I, I feel we need to have a personal experience with it. Just like love, you know, like somebody could tell you what dating is like or marriage or being a parent is like. But until you're literally walking in those footsteps, you're like, oh, okay, I didn't think about this or that. You.
[00:29:09] Right? And yeah, Amen. Yeah, It is. Yeah, it's the.
[00:29:35] I like this word.
[00:29:37] It's almost like dualism.
[00:29:41] But like two things can be true at the same time, even though they seem opposite. So like, if you think of like religious scholars or like spend your whole life trying to get to know God, Only to understand, like, you know, innately, we will never forget fully know God, otherwise you would be God. This is like Jewish thought, you know, like, so we can't ever fully know God, but it's still good to dedicate your life to trying to figure out what thousands of years of religious masters have studied. And I mean, that's the, that's Talmud is. So the Jews did document that in something called Talmid. And basically they, this is cool. They read one page. It's 7,000 pages.
[00:30:22] You read one page every day for seven years. And at the seven years, you start all over again at the beginning. And I think it's called like, it's like a cipher. So when you look at a page, like I, I'm not trained. I need to be trained to even just read it. And in the center, I think is like Torah, which would be Bible on the outside, is all these different commentaries. So even just the way that the books. I think it's like 70 volumes or something like that.
[00:30:50] But it basically, you could study for an entire lifetime, you know, and then you start all over again back at the beginning. So it is. So when I said anti theism, I didn't mean to invalidate all what all spiritual teachers and masters have, the knowledge that they have documented throughout the eons. That is important and beautiful. But what I meant is a personal experience, being able to feel that myself and just try to have relationship with God myself.
[00:31:22] And it might not feel like your relationship with God. That's, that's what I mean. So, like having that experience doesn't mean I'm throwing all theology out, but I'm going to look at the theology secondary to my own experience.
[00:31:35] Yeah.
[00:31:41] Yeah, I think, Hashem, you know, so your birthday in Judaism is really important because that's, it's the day that God knew that the universe couldn't live without Gary and, and manifested you into being. So it was like, and, and on your birthday you're supposed to say actually blessings for other people because it's such a magical day that you were brought into being on that day, that you now have this like special power on that day to pass that blessing or gift on other people. So. And I just learned this. I just turned 55. So I, I just learned this on my 55th birthday. I had no idea. Like, I've never, like once you hit like 50, I'm like, I don't really need to celebrate my birthday. You know, I'm good, dude. And. But then, you know, my uncle was like, no, it's actually really important, so please say a blessing to me. And then my kids called and said, yeah, I'd say a blessing. So I'm like, okay, yeah, I should be thankful for this gift of life. And, you know, Hashem, or Creator knew that he needed us. You know, you're here, too, so I'm assuming Hashem knew he needed you, too.
[00:32:49] And so it's a real blessing. And. And the one thing, this is what I tell people that are.
[00:32:56] Sometimes I run into people that don't believe in anything, and I'm always, like, always kind of shocked or taken aback by that. I'll ask your opinion on that, too, after. But.
[00:33:06] And I actually, I lost my thought, so maybe.
[00:33:14] Oh, right. For that. Oh, right. The one thing. Okay, so if Hashem hadn't brought you here, Hashem would have not had Gary's experience with Hashem. So in other words, all the things that you've experienced in your life, but beautiful things or difficult things or things that you've learned and the people you've met and experiences you've had, Hashem would not have had that unless you were here. So that's how important it is that you are here. You know, so.
[00:33:41] Because I.
[00:33:42] I think I posited the question early on in my, like, journey to want to learn more about Judaism, like, why, you know, like, why.
[00:33:53] Why would God create. Why did God create humanity? You know, like, you know, for all the good. And it's the. Another one. It's one of those, you know, 100,000 years people have been asking the same question. And then, you know, nobody told me this, but what I thought about was, oh, our experience.
[00:34:11] So. Because, right. If God had never made you or I, he would have never had the experience or relationship with us. And that's like you said, free will is a miracle and a gift.
[00:34:24] And that free will, and I don't mean illusion by, like, it's not true. I mean the illusion. Because, you know, the Bible also says that every hair on your head is numbered. I am the alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. In other words, God knows the good choices you're going to make, and God knows the not great choices you're going to make. And hopefully the not great choices. You know, again, back to why is there sin? Hopefully, those wrong choices are going to pull us back to relationship with. With the divine. And. And that. And that's a beautiful thing. And hopefully we could just make more decisions that keep us in God's loving embrace as opposed to, you know, getting struck down or you know, some of the rougher stories in the Bible, you know, I was, I was talking about.
[00:35:10] And Daniel, I think there was this story where Aaron lets his two sons go into the temple and. And God strikes them down like dead. Right. Like kills him because they picked the wrong incense like to bring into the. This is an Old Testament story. And you read that and you're like, well, damn, you know, like, you don't want to mess around with. Don't mess around with Hashem. It's like, it's shit is serious. But I think that the moral of the story and not to like make death a light hearted topic, but I think the moral of the story is about the preparedness of when you go in search of the divine to take it seriously. Don't f around, you know, like.
[00:35:52] So I think that's what the real meat of the story is about.
[00:35:58] Yeah, same. Yeah. The, the universe took care of that. But you know what my grandfather said? He. My grandpa always said, grass doesn't grow on a busy street.
[00:36:11] So. Yeah, yeah, Yep.
[00:37:38] Right.
[00:37:40] Yeah. Amen. Part of God's will. God knew we were going to do that and hopefully God can redirect us back on the correct path. And, and yeah, I agree with you. Amen. Right Without.
[00:37:53] Yeah, yeah. And.
[00:37:59] Right. That's our only job is to. Well, the Dalai Lama says that the only.
[00:38:05] All living things need to live. You know, their, their job is to live. And hopefully in that life is. The life is celebrating creation. Celebrating creation. Right. So we're celebrating hopefully in our life we can celebrate God, be thankful.
[00:38:23] But yeah, creation, giving back to God. Right through our actions, I guess through our love, through our worship. You know, it's interesting to try to think about what worship is. I don't exactly know what that is, you know, but I do believe, I think you're right about, you know, Creator created us to like if. If God had never created any other life, what would have acknowledged God's existence or what would have validated, you know, maybe God doesn't need validation, I have to assume. But, but we're here, like I said, like the birthday. So God created you because he knew he couldn't live another day without your soul being here on this planet. You know, and Jews actually believe in reincarnation. A lot of people, which was a big.
[00:39:11] David loved the idea of reincarnations and we believe that too. So we believe that, you know, energy can't be created or destroyed. So when I said David is with us, I mean it. And he's with us. In just another energetic form. And I mean that in a material sense and in an esoteric, spiritual sense. So not just his life living through his logos or word or videos and books, but in the cosmic energy, everything. I heard an awesome quote from Neil Degrasse Tyson, who usually isn't a very. Like, I love him, but I don't. Do you know who he is? He's kind of a pretty well known. Okay, yeah, he's usually a pretty grounded, not a super. He doesn't talk about spirituality and God a lot, I'll just say that.
[00:40:00] But he said something, and I think it was Diary of CEO was the. Was the podcast. And he said something really beautiful at the end. I actually wrote it down.
[00:40:11] Basically he said, you are in the universe and the universe is within you. So he was talking about that we're all created from the same thing, from stardust, basically. All the elements of creation were everything that was available in the cosmos. Right. Like all life on our planet is readily available and here and floating around us. And we take a deep breath in. I was just talking to my wife about this the other day. I said, like, when I travel to a new country or to a new city where if I'm just drive to the mountains and the first thing I do when I get out of the car is I go and I just mesh with the I. I breathe in life, right? Or before you meditate or pray. Even when you pray or like you did at the beginning of this episode, you know, you just, you know, breathe it in and what you're doing there is. You're inhaling everything in the universe. And it's alive. It's. It's a biosphere. Like, there's. I. I also watched another podcast recently on how fog is alive. And it's like, you're like, wait, what? Well, yeah, there's billions of bacteria that live, that are lighter than air, that float with the fog as it moves. And if you were to walk up and just.
[00:41:31] You now have this whole new biosphere and meshing with your biosphere, which is like. Or biome, because now it's like goes into your gut biome and your lungs and.
[00:41:43] And if you, you know, if you ask yourself what is a human aside from.
[00:41:48] I'm talking about just your 3D printed body, your. Your meat puppet sack.
[00:41:55] What is that? Well, it's a collection of conscious bacteria, really. You know, and then we can get esoteric and say there's a soul in your spirit. And.
[00:42:05] And we're all emitting. David was big on this too. We all emit biophotons, so. Which can't. You can see with like an infrared camera. But like every human emits biophotons. We're emitting light. So we're literally light bodies, not just in a spiritual sense, but in a biophysical sense, which is amazing to me. And when we take that, what degrasse Tyson said about the universe, you know, you're in the universe and the universe is in you. If you do that literally and think about what's happening, you're meshing with that biosphere.
[00:42:40] Breathe it in. All the wisdom and knowledge and love of since the beginning of mankind, you're breathing in, right? Including David's wisdom and love and light and Jesus and all these other amazing prophets and teachers that came before us. And that is. That blows my mind, man.
[00:43:00] Blows my mind. You got me riffing now. Yeah, but like, I. I wrote that little thought down. That was like. Literally the only thing I wanted to say to you today was like, it's like. And it came from Neil degrass Tyson, like, just the universe part, which I was like, usually I'm like, come on, dude. Because, like, they'll ask him about are aliens real? And he's always like, bring out the alien. Show me the evidence. I'm like, you can't. Just because you see it, you know, I mean, you know this. Just because we witness it with our eyes does not necessarily mean it's true or not true.
[00:43:31] Yeah, Sam.
[00:44:02] Amen. We are one, right? Yeah.
[00:44:40] Right?
[00:46:09] Yeah. And they.
[00:46:11] And I. I once heard a guru.
[00:46:14] I lived in California for 10 years and. And my mom would hang out. Like, before my mom was Christian, she was hara Krishna.
[00:46:22] So. But I once heard a guru say, and I wish I could have a conversation with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, because I would totally tell him this quote, but basically that he quoted and he said, modern science is great and all, but it asks for one miracle and then it builds the rest of the castle on that miracle. And the miracle is basically, where did energy and matter come from? So everything is great in material science until before the big bang. So basically you need the miracle of the big bang for the rest of material science to work.
[00:46:58] So it. It's kind of missing that. And then if you ask a materialist or call them whatever you want, materialists or atheists, if you go, okay, so where did like, cell division come? Like, where did computation come in from? And there's a. There's another Hebrew word called shafinan. And what that is is it means like the Creator's fingerprint and everything. So in other words, you have Fibonacci or the golden ratio. We've all probably seen pictures of it and. And I'm sure you're familiar with it, but whenever you see that fingerprint that's called Shakina, or like, you look at a waterfall and you go, whoa, this is really beautiful. Like, there's no real reason that it has to be this beautiful. Like, Creator is pretty awesome. Thank you, Creator, for this beautiful sunset or whatever it is that you're smelling a flower and you're like, well, yeah, it would be hard to be an atheist for me is like, I need to ascribe the beauty to something, like, instead of just random. But, like, you know, you have to ask, like, where did the calculation. How do the cells know to divide? I mean, you start with a single cell organism. Like, there's order there, and the order from chaos is almost more of a stretch than believing in, like, a creator, you know, and it could be an alien extraterrestrial, you know, could be whatever, you know. But it came from somewhere, Right? It's all. I mean, that's in the Bible too. You look at. I recently had a.
[00:48:40] Yeah, yeah, you have the nephilim and. Yeah, I mean, all that crazy shit's in there and they're mating with Earth women. And, you know, so I was recently had a chakra cleansing after David's passing. And the lady didn't. She really didn't know me that well, but she goes, oh, you definitely have, like, Anunnaki blood in you or something to that effect. I was like, oh, wow, that's wild. But, you know. Yeah, and I had. I had past life regressions done when I was in California and stuff, and. But never heard that Anunnaki dropped on me before, Right?
[00:49:18] Oh, definitely.
[00:49:30] Right, Totally. I mean, you see that in sacred art. I mean, he was pointing that out, you know, when we were in high school and I had never noticed renaissance paintings with UFOs in the background. I mean, it. And the descriptions in the Bible, Ezekiel talking about burning shields in the. In the sky and, you know, it's. It's all over the place. If you just open your eyes and look and. And all those spiritual figures, you know, not just the Abrahamic religions, but in Hinduism, you know, they're ascending on.
[00:50:06] They ascend from the sky. They're star people. And it's all over the place. It's in every sacred religion, in my opinion, or, you know, school of thought.
[00:50:15] So it's another. I think it's another universal truth.
[00:50:21] Yeah, Yeah. You know Carl Sagan's quote about. He said, if it's just about us, isn't that a waste of space?
[00:50:35] That's. That's my favorite Sagan quote.
[00:50:59] Yeah, Yeah, I agree. Yeah. It's. It's. To me, that's crazy. But, yeah, maybe we see eye to eye on that. Just thinking, like, I hope we're not the best at Cats, because we got a lot of learning to do, you know?
[00:51:27] Amen.
[00:51:48] Amen. Yeah.
[00:52:13] Nice. Yeah, Amen. Yeah, you're right. Yeah. Meshing with the. With the light. Yeah, it's all b. Like, David was so big on photons and studies of DNA transfer. Right. Through photons, water, DNA and light, you know?
[00:52:30] So, yeah, he was big on that. And even back on the science thing, Michio Kako, he basically was saying, you know, we could have entire universes, like, right in front of our face that we're just breathing in as they're just small. Like I was saying before, you take a breath of air, in everything that has ever been in the cosmos or universe, you're inhaling that. So if it is just light being. You don't know what.
[00:52:57] You know, there could be something to that.
[00:53:00] Hopefully we're inhaling more benevolence than.
[00:53:04] Than not be. Right. Amen. Yeah. It's up to those choices we make to inhale the good air, bad air. Yeah.
[00:53:22] Yeah. Amen. My. My next show is literally on that. And what I. What I talk about, this is dropping on Wednesday, hopefully.
[00:53:30] What I do is I break down David's protocol for.
[00:53:37] For tapping in. You use the word tap in, but basically I talk about hypnogogia, which is the state between sleep and wake, which is what David and many other characters. Einstein, Tesla, Thomas Edison. I go down and I break down each person's sop, or standard operating procedure and protocol for Tesla tapping into these alternate forms of consciousness that don't take money or drugs. It just takes some knowledge. And I. And I basically talk about the protocol that David used, whether he was channeling or. You used the word channeling earlier, too. So you were right on the money, man. Like, psychically. We're. We're right there because you talked about. Everything you've mentioned today is exactly what I was working on to release this. And.
[00:54:29] And, yeah, I was there with David the first time we ever tried channeling together, and he was successful. I wasn't. We did automatic writing, which I don't know if you've ever heard of that, but you Kind of meditate and don't look at what you're writing and use your non dominant hand and. And he.
[00:54:45] But as he. He perfects this kind of channeling technique over the next 20 years and it becomes, you know, Archangel Michael's prophecies and all, a lot of his books. And he's. In his early career, David used to do like, personal readings for people, and he kind of perfected that channeling technique when he was doing these personal readings. And then eventually it turns into the Edgar Casey stuff. I don't know how far back you've gone on David's work, but.
[00:55:18] And apparently I'm in that circle too. We could talk about reincarnation at some point. We could do a whole episode on that because I'm in. I'm inside the circle of the Casey.
[00:55:28] And a lot of this stuff, it was like, you know, I love you, brother. I don't get like, okay, yeah, we may have been in past lives together. It's very well possible. I'm not gonna negate that. I don't, I don't have a lot of memory of that. But if you say it's so, then God bless, you know what I mean? Or, like, a lot of people, they say, even you, like, you and I may have circled in previous lifetimes. And. And they, they usually do say that you circle with the same kind of core group of people, you know. Yeah.
[00:56:07] Oh, yes. Yeah.
[00:56:19] Sa.
[00:56:45] No, I believe it. It's called. It is. And it is scientific. And so Freud. Freud said that. Right? And Freud basically said, you know, I always knew that, like, issues I had working out with my mom, you know, not being, not being upset that I was like pulled into a cult at a young age.
[00:57:04] But I knew the issues that I might not be able to work out with my mom, I would work out later with my daughter.
[00:57:10] Things like that. Like psychologically that if you, if you don't finish the karma with one person, you're probably going to repeat the same lesson, you know, with another person until you get them. Get it right, basically, you know, so. And that's real. And then you have something called somatic trauma. So on a. So on a biological sense, that's also true. So things that generationally may have happened to your forefathers.
[00:57:37] And the Bible also says it too. Like it's. There's a quote about the, you know, you're. You're basically getting your ass kicked because of the sins of your forefathers. So in other words, you know, like, if you, if you're the People that came before you kept sinning and sinning and sinning. You might be the one who has to pay for that. Or like America, we live in America, we may have to pay off karmic debt that our leaders or, you know, or when you're just kind of stuck in the situation and you feel like you can't do a lot, we all have to like pay for that karma in one way or another. Yeah, Totally. And it's true on a biological level too. Like you, you, you perish and you become food for the plants. You know, the sun.
[00:58:37] Actually another thing Neil DeGrasse Tyson said that I thought was cool was like he said we're all solar powered. And I was like, oh, that's interesting. And what he meant was like the sun comes and it, we have plants and the plants grow.
[00:58:51] And the animals, he actually said cows are, were machines manufactured to process the sunlight into human protein. I mean that's a kind of a non romantic way to look at animals. But in a functional sense of reincarnation, we think about, you know, if I pass away or this animal passes away, it's going to bring nutrients to the ground that will make these plants grow and then you will consume the next generation, will consume the plants which will have animals or, you know, if you're a vegetarian, then you, and that sustains you. So even the circle of life is true. Whether you believe in that's. So when somebody disses reincarnation and I'm like, bro, like, what do you think happens? What, like, what is fertilizer? Like, what is that made from?
[00:59:40] Chicken, right? And then you put the chicken in the dirt and you grow nice tomatoes and you eat. So it's like circle of life, you know, just put a different word on it.
[00:59:53] Amen. Yeah, yeah, Brian, Amen. Yeah, yeah, amen.
[01:00:41] Sa.
[01:01:14] Yeah, right on. I, I love that. And I, I thought about faith a while back and understood that honestly it's only, you only need like 51%. It's better if you have more, but if you just 1% more than not believing.
[01:01:29] And it's like the Bible says, you know, faith the size of a grain of mustard seed can move mountains.
[01:01:34] It's like so it doesn't take that much faith even. I think Jesus said that apparently, I think. And so I said, I was thinking to myself, yeah, it's just, you just need to put, tip the scale a little bit to be like, well shit, I might as well believe. It's like, doesn't it feel safer to have like faith than to have nothing. Like you can be a nihilist, but like how comforting is nihilism? You know what I mean? It's like, it's probably like, it can't be that fun to live in that space of just believing in nothing.
[01:02:48] And that's the free will again that you were talking about. Like the free will, like God empowered you with that choice. Even if it was only 1% over the 50%, even if you were 51% faith.
[01:03:01] That's all you need to like feel safe and comforted and like, I have a friend, I'm not lonely, or whatever God means to you, or whatever it means to have faith. You know, some people operate fully from that, I guess, God centric view of faith that like every, like you're saying everything's going to be okay, it's incomplete, God's hands, Jesus, take the wheel, or however you want to say it. It's like it's, oh yeah, yeah. And like I, like I said, it's a much, a much safer space to operate in, I think, than just being like, oh, whatever's going to happen is going to happen. And here we go, you know what I mean? Like even like any sports person, any business person, anybody trying to get anything done, you need to first believe faith, right? Like a, an Olympian. And like I actually watch mixed martial arts, which is like, a lot of people think it's barbaric, but I, I actually think you could solve the world's problems with it. Like if instead of war you just get your, your David and Goliath, right? And you get them and they, and even if one person dies, it's better than millions of people dying. But anyway, I think I lost my.
[01:04:16] Yeah, oh yeah. Mixed martial arts. So they say, oh, the champions. So the, the people that usually end up being champion almost have this overinflated self.
[01:04:28] Some people call it ego.
[01:04:30] But they say like, if you don't believe that you can kick the ass of the baddest person standing across the rink from you, nobody else. Like, if you don't believe that yourself, then how is it ever going to happen? Like if you already lost the battle in your mind.
[01:04:44] So you almost need to not lie to yourself, but almost you just need to have faith. You need to literally have faith, right, that, that you're going to win, that's it. Or that everything will be okay. In the case that we're talking about that God has your best interest at stake. God doesn't want you to suffer. God wants you to be happy and you know, live A fulfilling life and be in relationship with the divine, you know, ultimately.
[01:05:20] Right. Yeah.
[01:05:39] Right. Which is awesome. Right? Yeah.
[01:05:59] Sa.
[01:06:29] Yeah. That's your Yora. That's your path. You know, Hashem has that.
[01:06:34] The universe has that path for you. And. And you're already in such a amazing space in your head that, you know.
[01:06:42] You know, I've heard clergymen say, I don't believe. I know.
[01:06:49] Well, that's great. I mean, to. To have that faith transcend to a certain point where, you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that God's grace is gonna take care of you. And. And there was another great story in Daniel about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego being in the burning furnace, and then an angelic being shows up. So it's not that God is always gonna, like, remove you from a time or. Or suffering. It's that God's promising, I'll be present with you. I'll.
[01:07:21] I got you, Gary. You know, show up in a point, and it may be you need to turn to God at certain points in your life. I've had. We've all had, like, terribly low points. You know, David's passing to me has been just really hard to quantify in words. You know, like, the grief comes and goes, and there's times that I'm still like, what the f. Like, brother, what the hell, man? You know, and, like, questioning everything. And, you know, I'm in grief counseling and grief therapy to try to process some of it so I don't have to be, you know, a monster in front of my wife and kids to dealing with, you know, my friend's passing. And I think that's just part of the faith, is like having faith that, you know, God's will will be done. And David's in a. In a safe space and a loving arms of Hashem in the. In the universe. And he's here with us. We're talking about him at this moment, keeping him alive, keeping all the prayers and energy of all the people that loved him alive. And I know he's grateful for that. And, yeah, we're literally keeping his essence alive right now and establishing new relationship with God or creator and each other. So we're doing what we're supposed to be doing. And I think, like you said, when that happens, the universe sends you signals, and you either feel that in your heart, like when you're on the path of righteousness or when you kind of run into a sinker, and it doesn't resonate with you, you know, but that's a beautiful thing. Yeah. All right. Yeah. Yeah. I'm. It's not. I don't know what the.
[01:09:10] So I. I love the brother. I'm not, like, I was never, like, his super fan. I couldn't quote, like, he was just a brother to me. And I did try to, you know, read his books and watch as many shows as I could, but he was so prolific. It was also hard to, you know, capture everything he ever said and did. But.
[01:09:30] But the basic element, when you distill it down, you know, what did he mean to everybody? It was. It was about marrying those universal truths, which we talked about, like, the first time I ever chatted with you, and. And that's what I hope to do and carry. Like, what you're doing is.
[01:09:46] I guess it's called gauge theory. From what pers. From what perspective of reality or truth, whatever we want to call it, because truth lives in different spaces, right? There's truth in Buddhism and Christianity and Judaism and secularism and science and math. There's truth all over the place. So it's like, what angle am I measuring the truth from? What met. So, like, I heard Eric Weinstein talk about, you know, you have a soccer match going on, and there's the reality of the players of themselves, and then there's the reality of the people in the. In the stands, and then there's reality of everybody watching the sporting event on tv. And they're all true and they're all reality, but they're completely different perspectives.
[01:10:30] So it's important. And I think what David did was help align all those perspectives and just distill it down to simple truths. And that's what I hope I can do. And obviously, it looks like you're doing a good job with that, too. And it's a learning process because truth is constantly reality, and truth is constantly kind of shifting and changing.
[01:10:53] Sa.
[01:11:24] Right on. Yeah, I love that.
[01:11:36] No, it was great. Thanks for giving me the opportunity. It was nice to chat and.
[01:11:42] Yeah, I'll just leave it on that note. Like, don't forget to stop and. And breathe in the universe.
[01:11:49] You know, it's universal love. It's. There's Hashem, the divine. Everything that's ever been and will be is contained in that breath. So all the wisdom and love and light that's ever been and ever will be is in that breath of air. So. And it's free. It only takes a minute to, like. We're not trying to sell you anything. We're trying to get you to stop and smell a flower. Or, you know, look at a sunset and just be thankful for your existence because you're here for a reason.
[01:12:22] Thank you.
[01:12:25] Thank you. Same to you.
[01:12:30] All right.
